The LG GW300 is a handset that utilises both display screen and QWERTY keyboard in an effective manner. The large display screen sits above a range of buttons, whilst the full QWERTY keyboard, reminiscent of a Blackberry, sits beneath the display screen. In addition the handset provides a wide variety of additional features and options and as such is an effective and useful mobile phone


One of the central features of this particular phone is its impressive 2.4 inch TFT screen. Effective as it is at displaying colours, due to its ability to display up to 256,000 colours, it is the full QWERTY keyboard that impresses the most. The QWERTY keyboard operates in an extremely responsive manner, and makes text data entry simplicity itself. The phone comes with internal memory of 50 MB, which can be expanded upon by utilising the built in microSD card slot. Hot swap capabilities are provided, which allows memory expansion up to 16 GB


Connectivity is provided by a variety of means, with class 12 versions of GPRS and EDGE, complemented by both USB and Bluetooth connections. The handset comes with a standby time of up to 400 hours, whilst it retains a talk time of up to 5 hours.


Entertainment comes in a variety of means with this handset, which includes a 2.0 mega pixel camera that operates at a pixel resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and also provides the means to capture video as an alternative to still imagery. In addition an MP4/MP3 media player is provided in conjunction with an FM radio and a variety of games.


The Blue LG GW300 is one of the colour variants available, the other being black. The unit is a comprehensive handset which is reminiscent of several other phones currently on the market.
