Owning a mobile phone is nothing short of standard in these modern times. Phones are needed so people can stay in contact, and being available at the end of the phone is essential. More often than not, mobile phones are used by us in many different ways because they are now multipurpose devices. Since there are so many different uses, there are so many different variations of call plans to choose from.

There are two different options available, prepay mobiles or contract phone deals. There are no other types of deals to choose from in the UK. Both contract phones and prepay mobiles have their benefits, but choose the one that suits you.

Contract phones often have bigger benefits.  You get a free phone and you pay for inclusive minutes, text messages and data. There are lots of contracts available that offer different allowance amounts, or you could always customise your call plan to your needs. There are unlimited calling packages too that are available if you're willing to pay a bit more. Free incentives are a common thing with contract mobile deals, including MP3 players, computers, games and more.

If you don't fancy a mobile contract for any reason, them maybe you need to look at prepay mobiles instead. Also called pay as you go, you top-up your phone in advance for calling credit. This lets you avoid a big bill, because you can't spend more than you pay for. you don't have to carry on with the network if you don't want to, because you are not in a contract. Networks are offering increasingly attractive perks of free minutes and text messages when you top up, meaning you're not missing out on all the benefits of a contract phone.

As you can see, prepay mobiles and contract phones have their separate benefits. It is important you choose the plan that is right for you, because there are so many plans out there.
