Broadway famous musical event titled as THE LION KING is gladly welcomed to the company starting on a Tuesday, in the month of June. The role of the evil lion Scar has been played by Gareth Saxe and the role of Mufasa have been played by the talented actor Alton Fitzgerald White. The character of Mufasa has been shown to be that of a great lion warrior, who is the ruler of the fictitious Pridelands. Cameron pow plays the role of the prim and the proper bird named Zazu; whereas Ben Jeffrey plays the character of the carefree warthog that is named as Pumbaa. Amongst the other cast are Fred Berman and Chauntee Schuler who play the roles of the intelligent meerkat Timon; and the friendly and the loyal lioness named Nala respectively.
THE respective play that is LION KING had made its debut in the year 1994 in an animated feature-length film that had both been developed and also produced by the prestigious Walt Disney Company. The story of the movie revolved around a young cub named Simba and how he comes of age and rises to become the King of the jungle. The Director of this play is Julie Taymor who has blended the elements of African art and the Broadway artisanship together with much creativity.
The main story is that of a lion cub named Simba who is born to the king of the jungle named Mufasa. He has to flee when his father is killed by his evil uncle named Scar. Get your cheap lion king tickets before they sold out.
