The Google Nexus S features a 5 megapixel camera like the Samsung Galaxy S for video recording and photo capture along with a front facing camera for video calling respectively. The handset also features a 4 inch WVGA contour display which offers the same SUper AMOLED clarity as other Samsung handsets also.
The phone provides a large range of Google products including the Android operating system, as the Samsung Galaxy S does also, albeit the latest 2.3 Gingerbread version, being the first handset to offer it as such. Preloaded Google applications meanwhile include GMail and GTalk email and instant messaging, as well as Google Maps and Navigation providing both the well-known maps and directions onscreen, with the added accompaniment of the Navigation which provides full turn by turn assistance as you travel following the onscreen maps available.
The Nexus S provides a large 4 inch Super AMOLED display featuring WVGA (480 by 800) resolution and capable of displaying up to 16 million, colours as is the display offered by the similar Samsung Galaxy S respectively. This display also has a contour design however using curved glass to create an easier to view display, and offering up to 75 percent less glare than many of its competitors, while also allowing the overall handset design to remain thin and lightweight. The Near Filed Communication (NFC) also offered allows you to read smart tags on everyday objects which could be anything from movie posters to t-shirts which have NFC chips in them, helping to provide you with information direct to the handset.
