The Eagles Will Be Performing 2 Concerts

The Eagles will be performing at 2 concerts on May 9th and 10th at the General Motor Place in Vancouver. These performances are in connection to their "Long Road out of Eden" tour. The Eagles band that comprises of Glenn Frey, Timothy B. Schmit, Don Henley and Joe Walsh will be performing their greatest hits. These hits will be from their chart-topping album "Long Road out of Eden" and classic selections from the eagles' songbook will also be included.

The tour began in London, England at the The O2 arena on March 20, 2008. The last show currently scheduled is in May 2010 at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in

"Long Road out of Eden" was the Eagles first album released after its album "The Long Run," released in 1979. The new album was an instant hit and it soared right to number one on the Billboard 200 chart. In its first week of release the album sold approximately 711,000 copies. "Long Road out of Eden" went on to become the best selling album by a band in the year 2007. The Band members are Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey and Timothy B. Schmit.


Apart from the 2 nights at the General Motors Place in Vancouver on 9th and 10th of May, the Eagles' Long Road out of Eden tour also includes 3 concerts at the renowned Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on April 16th, 17th and 20th. Other stops planned by The Eagles include Las Vegas's MGM Grand Garden Arena, the Honda Center in Anaheim, Nevada; the US Airways Center, Phoenix in California and in Idaho the venue is Idaho Center in Nampa. Other stops announced till now include the Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA, the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, and the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington and the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.

In late 2009, The Eagles hinted at planning a co-headlining tour with Fleetwood Mac stages for summer. Both of these bands of 1970's have a huge fan following and it is expected that they will draw big crowds if a tour happen.
