The Classification of Chinese Peking Opera Mask

The classification of Chinese Peking Opera mask usually base on two kinds of classified method: the type of the Peking Opera mask and the color of the Peking Opera mask.
1-The type of the Peking Opera mask

Sui Lian (fragmentary face): It bases on the three parts face and keep the main color and add some other colors, pattern.

Eunuch face: It likes the first and second face we mentioned above. The color only divided into two colors, red and white.
Gold ingot face: It is divided into "common gold ingot face" "inverse gold ingot face" "colored gold ingot face".
Pictographic face: It usually uses to the myth opera and has no stable type. Don't be too realistic when draw it, and it represent a fairy.
Clown face: This kind of Opera mask should be drew with a white nose and to show its comedy features.
Demon face: It represents the role of heavenly generals, demons and so on.
Hero face: This kind of Opera mask is not mean the outstanding people, but the man who roles beaters.
2- The color of the Peking Opera mask
