As the episode begins Wolowitz is telling his friends how excited he is to be on the last phase of his top-level security approval. The only remaining step is the FBI interviews his friends have to complete. The only problem with this plan is Special Agent Angela Page (Eliza Dushku), who is quite fetching, will be giving the interviews.

Agent Page first meets with Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) who is so focused on his fear of being sent back to India that all of his responses to Agent Page's questions are redirected to his love of the United States. He of course needed to consume a lot of rum cake before he could talk to the beautiful agent. Agent Page leaves Raj's apartment more confused then when she arrived.

Next Page visits the newly confident Leonard (Johnny Galecki) who is determined to ask out the next beautiful woman he sees. Although the questions start out about Howard they quickly turn toward Leonard and his desire to ask Agent Page out on a date. She flashes her large ring and says that she would be happy to go if her six foot Navy Seal husband could come along as well. Leonard shyly ducks away and finishes the interview.

The comedy hits a high point when Agent Page meets with Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons). After comparing identification cards Sheldon confirms her identity and allows her into his apartment. Sheldon graciously answers Special Agent Page's questions pointing out the very minute details of Howard's behavior pertaining to Sheldon's personal property. Just as Agent Page is about to write off Sheldon he accidently mentions Howard's destruction of the Mars rover and she decides that Howard is not fit for the security clearance.

Regretting his verbal miscue and the effect it had on Howard's career, Sheldon goes to apologize to Howard. After Howard refuses Sheldon tries to fix things and revisits Agent Page only to make the situation worse and almost get his roommate Leonard in trouble in the process. Sheldon goes to the one person he knows can help, Penny (Kaley Cuoco). The scene between the two was priceless as always and was also great to see Penny return to the show after her horse riding accident. In a last effort to get Howard's forgiveness Sheldon offers Howard the most important thing in the world to Sheldon, his couch seat. Howard accepts his apology and the group reconvenes in Sheldon's apartment to conclude the show. Sheldon's offer is short-lived as he asks for his seat back after a couple minutes thus ending another great episode.

The Big Bang Theory: The Apology Insufficiency was another fantastic episode of the hilarious comedy. The Big Bang Theory cast continue to drive the comedic value and direction of this remarkable show. The return of Kaley Cuoco was refreshing as her ability to play off Jim Parsons' character really provide for some amazing comedy moments. The Big Bang Theory is still going strong in its fourth season.
