The call center industry of the Philippines, according to many industry experts, is one of the most successful industries in the Philippines. Although not the largest, the industry is known for its massive growth in only less than a decade compared to industries in the Philippines.

The government also recognized the industry as the Sunshine Industry of the Philippines because it was one of the few solutions for the growing problems regarding unemployment. Because of the huge number of call center companies and agencies established in the Philippines, it opened thousands of positions for Filipinos to fill in.

So what are the reasons why the call center industry of the Philippines had grown so much in only less than a decade? According to many industry experts, part of the reason why the industry had grown so much is because of its outsourcing services to offshore companies.

Success of the Call Center Industry of the Philippines
According to industry experts, the call center industry of the Philippines first started as a mere provider of email response and managing services. However, it grew when business and companies in the Philippines started to demand more services from call center agencies in the Philippines.


This introduced a number of new services in the Philippines, including almost all types of customer relation services such as travel services, technical support, education, customer care, financial services, and Order taking services.

Because of this growth, many businesses have gained a lot of success through working with third-party companies such as call center agencies. This also increased the demand for more outsourced call center services which led to the growth of call center agencies and companies in the Philippines. Because of this, the call center industry of the Philippines had gained more success in the world wide market, especially in Asia. Eventually, the industry grew even though Global Recession had hit the market. And today, the call center industry is now one of the largest industries of the Philippines which gave rise to the success of many call center companies in the Philippines, such as Magellan Call Center and their Order taking services.
