In today’s call center industry of the Philippines, Magellan Call Center is one of the most successful call center companies in the country. Part of the reason is because of its major contribution to the growth of the call center industry of the Philippines, particularly with its Live Answering Service which was considered rare in the past.

Magellan Call Center was found in 2005, the time in which the demand for call center services had significantly grown in the Philippine market due to the move that a few third-party companies had in the past in which they decided to introduce a few call center services to their clients other than their usual email response and management services.

At that same time, many other call center companies and agencies were also established to accommodate the growing demands for call center services in the Philippines. However, what made Magellan Call Center rose above the others is with its unique call center services, such as Order taking services and reservation services.


Though these types of call center services may be considered as simple types of call center services, particularly in today’s diversified Live Answering Service in the Philippines, these types of services were considered unique and rare in the market, and that only a few were seen offering such services. Effects of Global Recession
When global recession had hit the Philippine economy, the call center industry of the Philippines was one of the first that fell in the market, particularly because most of the industry’s revenue comes from the US, which was heavily devastated by global recession.


However, though many call center companies had closed down due to bankruptcy, many had also survived; one of those is Magellan Call Center. Part of what made Magellan Call Center endure is because of their simple call center services which are aimed for businesses unaffected by global recession.
