The Sony Ericsson P910i is currently the top of the line phone from Sony Ericsson. This phone is unique. Phone has dual mode operation. Flip open and Flip closed. The P910i has a built in flip keypad with a qwerty keypad on one side & the usual digital keypad on the other side. The P910i also has a touch screen facility which is highly usable. Sony Ericsson P910i shares almost identical measurements with its predecessor, the P900, at 115 x 57 x 24 mm and 155 g. The phone comes with a 208 x 320 pixels large TFT touch screen which is capable of displaying 2,62,000 colors at 18 bit depth to the owner's delight. Sony Ericsson P910a is on the large side. Of course, next to other smart phones, it's right in the mix, at 2.3 by 1 by 4.5 inches and 5.5 ounces.

In this sony ericsson mobile the front keypad can be removed to reveal the huge internal display, offering a touchscreen facility and handwriting recognition using a specially designed pen, as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. The keypad is large, but lack of vertical spacing between the keys make it bit hard to write sms's fast. The P910i uses the same Symbian operating system as its predecessor and shares many of the features of the P900. However there are quite a few new features that make this phone more than just a minor upgrade. This phone comes with a built-in camera called Communi Corder which can capture images of up to 640 x 480 pixel resolution with 24bit color depth at 16 million colors.


A tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz communicator with support for HSCSD and GPRS Class 10, the P910i fares fairly well with regard to WAN connectivity. From the entertainment point of view the P910 has excellent multimedia functionalities which includes a music player capable of playing MP3, MIDI, AAC, RMF and many other formats; video streaming facility and several preinstalled games.

This sony ericsson mobile handset comes along with several things in the box. Included are an extra stylus, memory stick (32 Mbs), memory stick adapter, protective bag with strap, a stereo headset and a sync station which connects to the USB port of the PC.
