The LG GD510 Pop offers a veritable feast of functionality encased within a slim line and lightweight unit. Colourful screen technology interspersed with social media integration means this handset is set to become a must have item. Since its release in October 2009, it has seen a meteoric rise in interest due to its appealing level of functionality. The handset is a compact handset which measures 97 mm x 49 mm wide and is only 11 mm thick, whilst weighing only 87 g.


In amongst its numerous features, the LG GD510 Pop includes Facebook, MySpace and Twitter integration as standard features of the handset. The display screen offers excellent colour reproduction due to the fact it is able to display 256,000 colours and their variants at a pixel screen size of 240 x 400 pixels. An accelerometer sensor is also provided which automatically rotates imagery dependent upon the orientation of the phone.


A variety of connection options are provided with the handset which include GPRS, EDGE, blue tooth and micro-USB. This ensures the phone can be connected to multiple devices and systems allowing for a variety of functions to be performed, including file sharing and downloading via the USB.


A 3.15 mega pixel camera is integrated into the unit which operates at a pixel resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and provides the means to take effective imagery. As a viable alternative, the camera also allows the recording of video at QVGA quality and at 15 frames per second.


The LG Pop is an impressive handset, which provides the consumer with all the technology that is required to conduct a variety of tasks. With an MP3/MP4 player included for entertainment, it offers an excellent level of functionality within an appealing looking handset.
