Basically there are two sets of Camera Lenses the generic one and the branded one. Let us start off by discussing the generic ones.

Generic brands such as Tamron and Sigma are very affordable to say the least but the quality it may possess is still a question. Although the quality of the camera lens it gives is absolutely fantastic but we can still say that it doesn't match with the real thing. Although generic lenses provide a different feel like offering different features, it is still up to us to choose.

Branded Camera lenses basically means is that a Nikon Camera or Canon Camera is fitted for Nikon or Canon Camera Lens, so it is much more preferable to use the branded lenses with the same digital or film camera.
