Russell Brand says goodbye to his sex life, takes up gardening instead…
When Russell Brand used to say he was gardener before marrying Katy Perry he generally meant that as a big fat euphemism; what with all the poking around in bushes he used to do - but now that he’s a married man he actually means it.
In a new interview the comedian admitted that he has given up his nymphomaniac ways in favour of a good old potter around in the garden.
“I can't believe I used to have sex 20 times a week, especially now I'm married. But now I'm a bloody good gardener” said Russell on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories ITV1 show, confirming everything we’ve ever suspected about marriage.
In fact if Russell Brand’s comments are anything to go by then we think he’s finding married life a tad dull.
"It's difficult getting used to one person and being in the same house every day” he said.
"See, if she leaves stuff lying around I have to deal with it. And if I leave stuff on the floor I have to pick it up. That confuses me.
"And she takes ages to get ready. It's unbelievable. I had no idea what went on, I was never normally around for that bit."
Having seen this picture of Katy Perry sans make up, we can certainly believe that.
When asked by Piers if he thought he could manage not to sleep with another woman for the rest of his life, worryingly Russell added:
"I take it one step at a time - like with drugs, like with alcohol. Don't look at things as in 'rest of life'. Of course marriage is for life and that's what I wanted but anything for the rest of life can be daunting."

On Sunday night’s show we saw 20-year-old Joey Essex eyeing up Mark Wright’s 19-year-old ex-girlfriend, Lucy Mecklenburgh and if last night’s pictures of the twosome are anything to go by he’s clearly wasted no time in making his move.
Lucy and Joey were spotted filming upcoming scenes for the hit reality TV show in Essex last night and when Lucy got a little bit cold Joey was ever the gentleman and offered her his jacket. Aw, makes a nice change from Mark eh?
Meanwhile we also caught up with Sam Faiers, her sister Billie, former Playboy France star Chloe and Kirk Norcross, who for some strange reason found it highly amusing when he returned to his car and discovered a parking ticket.
