Actor, model, and musician Robert Pattinson was born Robert Thomas Pattinson on May 13th, 1986 in London, England. At a young age, Pattinson became involved with theatre through the Barnes Theatre company. He caught the eye of an acting agent, and then began looking for professional roles.

Robert then began his modeling career at age twelve, but it only lasted about four years. While his career was rather unsuccessful, he still had much more to offer.

Pattinson had small roles in films such as Ring of the Nibleungs in 2004 and Vanity Fair, even though his scenes only appear on the DVD version, his career was gearing up to take off.

Later that same year, Pattinson landed the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. While being in Harry Potter kick started career, his big break was when he landed the role of Edward Cullen in the box office smash Twilight.

The role of Edward Cullen led to Robert becoming a household name. Pattinson has also landed lead roles in the film Little Ashes, How To Be and the sort film The Summer House.

Pattinson is also an incredibly talented musician. He plays guitar and piano, as well as composes. He has two songs on the Twilight Soundtrack, "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign." Pattinson has already accomplished so much, but there is undoubtedly more to come.
