Permanent Markers

Permanent markers are pens that do not wash out of your things, rub off over time or deteriorate. This then means that you can draw on something and it won't start to smudge or come off – and this is highly useful for a vast range of purposes. You don't want your markers to get onto anything that you weren't intending to write on for instance otherwise you would not be able to get it off and this could ruin your belongings. Likewise you need to be careful not to make any mistakes when you are writing with permanent markers as there will be no way to erase them.

Thus for children and other groups dry wipe markers or washable markers are a safer option. When using them yourself be sure to leave the lid on when they are not in use, and to plan anything in pencil first.
