Step # 1. Prepare the wax first, fill the bottom pot of the double boiler with water and cut some wax chunks in to the top pot of the double boiler.

Step # 2. Boil the water and stir the wax as it melts, it will melt fairly quickly so keep your eye on it and make sure that you stir often. You are also going to want to check the temperature often as the paraffin wax will be ready shortly.

Step # 3. Now prepare the mold as you are waiting for the wax to melt, simply wipe the inside of the mold with olive oil or vegetable oil. Then string the wick through the wick tab if this is not already done for you. Place the wick tab in the bottom center of the mold.

Step # 4. Now when it comes to paraffin candle making this is the part where you want to go slow and take your time. If the wax is ready and melted then you can add scents or color dyes if you want. Now slowly pour the wax in to the mold and let it sit for 24 hours.

Step # 5. When the time has passed simply remove the candle from the mold and trim the wick, when this is done, you are done with paraffin candle making!
