o2 Network

o2 Network is one of the leading manufacturers in UK providing superb services and taking giant strides when it comes to providing immaculate technology implementation. The company also established the Tesco mobile joint venture business in UK and Ireland.

In the UK, o2 has 2G licenses in the bands of GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800. 3G licenses are available to the company under the bands of UMTS and HSDPA (1.8 mpbs , 3.6 mbps and 7.2 mbps). DSL connections are possible in blistering fast speeds with ADSL services being provided along with BT and ADSL 2+ network speed with Be Unlimited. The company has its own range of handsets (produced mainly by HTC) under the market name of XDA and an own brand of ODM.

In March 2008, o2 won 'Best use of mobile phone in events' in partnership with Mobile Interactive group at the Mobile marketing awards. Another accolade came by the ever improving company as it was adjudged as industry recruiter of the year at the Scottish Recruitment Awards.
