Troubling skin conditions don't make for easy conversation. After all, should you suffer from a pesky dry skin problem on any part of your body, it's not ideal material for a "first date" conversation, or something you'd readily bring up when out for a drink with friends. Men, in particular, tend to deal with itchy, pesky skin troubles with the old stiff upper lip, and only when the problem gets really bothersome do they even consider seeking some form of treatment.

However, do bear in mind that skin conditions are very common and there are plenty of treatments available. It's estimated that in the UK one in three people has a skin condition at any one time, ranging from rashes, itchiness, skin fungus, to infections, and skin bumps.

Sometimes the conditions can be long-term and need regular medical attention, such as Eczema and Psoriasis.

One treatment worth considering is a multi-purpose cream such as Yu-Be skin creamYu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream. This cream is now the top selling medicated cream in Japan, where it originated, and has devotees going back generations.

The cream dates back to 1957, when it was created by the young pharmacist Yoshikiyo Nowatari, in response to a patient's growing irritation with petroleum-based moisturizing agents. He experimented with a medicinal glycerine-based cream, enriched with vitamins D and E, and the healing ingredient camphor.

Nowatari's Yu-be Moisturizing Skin Cream gained a passionate following inside Japan, largely through word of mouth, as mothers recommended it to their daughters and so on. Now the cream is increasingly gaining a name for itself outside Japan.

At its heart the cream is a moisturizer, meaning it helps soothes and tempers the itching, flaking and inflammation that can accompany dry skin conditions. It is effective an allergic rashes, and cracked heels, nappy rash (it is safe for children and babies). Beyond this, some devotees of this cream have also reported success in treating more complex conditions such as Eczema and Dermatitis. It is also said to be beneficial for sunburn.

Apart from the moisturizing role played by the glycerine, the camphor is readily absorbed by the skin, and has analgesic (pain-reducing), as well as antimicrobial properties.

Finally, Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream can be used safely, when applied externally, on all parts of the body, including the face. For best effects it should be applied day or night to gently cleaned and dried skin.
