Tonight ABC hit show 20/20 will tell the story of Carmina Salcido and her horrific childhood. Carmina was three years old when her life changed forever, her father Ramon Salcido a vineyard worker who often came home drunk and would take out his frustrations by beating her mother just snapped.

After ambushing co-workers earlier in the day, when Ramon came home this time instead of beating his wife he shot and killed her, along with her two sisters and mother. He then packed his three young daughters in the car and took them on a ride that Carmina will never forget; she still remembers the fear in her sister's eyes. When they got to the destination Ramon pulled each one of his daughters out of the car one by one and slit their throats. After he dumped their bodies 20 feet from the road in an open field before taken off to Mexico. Luckily a transient spotted the three girls and noticed Carmina moving, she was the only survivor of the attacks that left seven people dead. When she arrived at the hospital doctors were amazed that 36 hours after the killing spree started Carmina was still alive especially with the wounds she suffered.

When she finally healed and was about to be released from the hospital she had no family to go home too, everyone was dead and her father was captured 800 miles away. It looked like Carmina would have to be place in a foster home until a strict Catholic family stepped in from Missouri to take her in. Immediately they changed her name and tried to hide Carmina's past from her while keeping her isolated from the outside world as she grew up. When she finally questioned them, they basically told her that she had the devil in her and was heading on the same path as her father. At 17, she left her adoptive parents and joined a convent in Nebraska, but in less than a year she left for a troubled home for teens in Idaho.

See eventually moved back to Sonoma County the place were it all started and even got up the courage to visit her father who is now on death row in San Quentin Prison. When she arrived she was still scared of him, and thought it would be a sad reunion. But instead her father smiled, laughed and never showed any remorse for what he did, even though he is now a certified Minister that councils other inmates. That was the last time she has seen him, and vows never to return there again until justice is finally done and he is no longer alive.

Today Carmina currently resides in Sonoma County and is currently working as a dog groomer. She has also written a book " Not Lost Forever" on her tragic childhood to help cope with the lost of her slain family members who's graves she routinely visits.
