The Nokia E75 is the newest Smartphone from the Nokia E-Series range. It has been getting a pretty good hype recently. And with good reason too. The phone styled like candy uses QWERTY keyboard slider, 3.2 megapixels camera and gives awesome sound quality among other things. Let us take a quick look at some of the good, bad and the ugly of this new mobile phone.

Advantages

At 139 grams and 14.4mm x 50mm x 11.8mm dimensions, the phone is not too big, not too small, just comfortable. The phone, which is in Candy-Bar form factor + Slide, fits right into the hand. The phone maintains the high quality that we have so far experienced in all the Eseries phones so far.

The Nokia E75 gives great sound quality and even though it is a phone directed to the professional business community, it does not take multimedia lightly. AAC, eAAC+, WMA and MP3 formats could be used on the media player. Real player, MP4, Flash, H264, H263 QVGA, 3GP are some video formats suitable for the Video player. Video Streaming, FM player, Windows media player are to be noted too. You can also enjoy with Nokia podcast, Nokia music manager and Nokia music store.

The 2.4-inch QVGA display comes with 16 million colors and in 240 by 320 pixels. It has excellent camera of 3.2 megapixels with Digital zoom, Autofocus, and LED flash. Nokia E75's version of Nokia Messaging, the default Email Client on the E75 is a much-improved version of the old one. The phone and the slider look great and the slider is reported to function without any hassles. The QWERTY Keyboard lives up to the reputation and is big and comfortable. The screen, though not big enough, is good enough for easy viewing. It gives good readability even in harsh sunlight. It enables charging through USB port taking convenience to a new platform.

The battery included with the E75 Nokia is great! Even with continuous use it lasts really long. It claims a standby Time of 264hrs. It gives a very good organizer that comes equipped with Phonebook, Alarm Clock, Clock, Calendar and Calculator.

GSM and HSDPA networks, Wi-Fi Connectivity, Micro USB, Bluetooth 2.0, GPRS and EDGE Technology, Nokia Web browser, AGPS Navigation and Nokia Maps all speak of easy connectivity and navigational possibility.

Disadvantages

The loudspeaker of the phone is not quiet loud enough. The keys used in N-gage gaming do not use the full potential of the QWERTY keyboard. It is not easy to open the memory card slot. The gap on one end when it is in Candy bar mode looks worrying, as if the slider will come tumbling out. This is not a real problem though, as the handset it pretty safely tight. Finger impressions fall easily on the phone.

As anyone can see, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. Most of the minuses are ignorable. The Nokia E75 is the best QWERTY phone you could find and all the other features are on with par or better than other phones on the market. This new phone has a lot of promise.
