Nintendo DS Games - Is It Only For Kids?

The “King” of game consoles continues to prove that they are still a top competitor for game console industry today. As a fact, Nintendo released some of the best consoles today like DS, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS, Wii, Wii Fit, and GameCube. Nintendo DS is said to be popular amongst kids and kids at heart. But, is it true that DS games are only for kids? Can adults also play the educational games offered by Nintendo DS?

My kids are playing DS games that are suitable for their age, and this made me think that Nintendo DS is only for kids. I was having this mind set until one day; I saw a massive list of games that are suitable even for my age. I discovered that although the DS is more focused on educational games for kids, I can also learn a lot of things while playing these games.

Aside from these educational games for kids, DS also offers a great selection of games that will educate even the adults. For example, a kid can learn basic spelling, vocabulary, and grammar while playing a game. Adults can also purchase a game that will help them with more advanced spelling, vocabulary, and grammar, allowing both parents and children to enjoy the game while learning.

The same thing goes for puzzle and math problems. Games offer easier problems for kids. These problems get harder as they improve their skills and they are really designed to improve their skills. We as adults should not ignore these educational games because this will help us improve in the future, and who knows, this game might even help us land on a better job. Although adults may prefer other games instead of these educational ones, we should still try one of them and see how it can help our children in the future.
