In 1893, Moser took a firm decision and acquired a glass factory in Meierhofen bei Karlsbad, which was later named as Karlsbaderglasindustrie Gesellschaft Ludwig Moser & Söhne. In this, he employed 400 workers along with his two sons - Gustav and Rudolf. In 1904, the twist came in when Moser supplied the Imperial Court of the Emperor of Austria and exactly after 4 years, it became the supplier to Edward VII.

In 1915, the company again participated as an exhibitor in Panama-Pacific International Exposition and awarded again with a medal. Since then, there was no looking back and nowadays, Moser crystal and glass products are omnipotent and its discounts are effortlessly captivating the crowd. The company slogan says “King of Glass, Glass of Kings” because its past clientele included the Austrian Imperial Court Pope Pius XI and the Turkish sultan Abdul Hamid II, which are all addition to Edward VII.


As a service to the environment, Ludwing Moser created a lead-free sodium-potassium glass, which is more eco-friendly as compared to the lead glasses that its contemporaries across the globe and manufacturing in bulk.
