Michael Bublé Leads The Nominees With Six Nominations

International celebrity, Michael Bublé leads the nominees with six nominations this time and he looks to continue his long Juno winning tradition on April 17th and 18th. The nominees were announced on Wednesday morning in Toronto, Canada.
This year, Michael has been nominated for the awards of artist of the year, songwriter of the year, single of the year for "Haven't Met You Yet" and pop album of the year for Crazy Love. Crazy Love is up against Diana Krall's Quiet Nights, Billy Talent's III; Justin Bieber's My World and Johnny Reid's Dance with Me in the category of album of the year. Crazy Love has also earned Bob Rock and David Foster a nomination for producer of the year award.
For the viewer-voted "Juno Fan Choice Award" Buble will be battling Nickelback, Johnny Reid, Ginette Reno and Maxime Landry
Michael Bublé‘s competitor Billy Talent has also bagged four nominations. The Toronto rockers are this time up against the Tragically Hip and Metric, Blue Rodeo and Hedley, for group of the year. Meanwhile, Billy Talent's III is also running for rock album of the year in addition to being nominated for album of the year and the hit single, "Rusted from the Rain" is competing for single of the year.

Toronto rapper Drake and the and country singer Johnny Reid are among the Juno hoarders running for the awards of new artist, single of the year for "Best I Ever Had" and two separate nominations for rap recording of the year for which Drake has been nominated and Johnny Reid is nominated for Juno Fan Choice, artist of the year, album of the year and country album of the year for Dance With Me.
A number of the top nominees will be performing on the show, that include Blue Rodeo,Drake,Justin Beiber, Billy Talent, Johnny Reid, Metric, and also Michael Bublé. The names of other performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
This year's event venue has been announced and it is St. John's, Newfoundland where the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) will be running Juno week festivities from April 12 to 18, and will conclude the festival with the Juno award show to be telecasted on CTV. Most of the awards will be given out at the Juno Gala Dinner & Awards set on April 17; it will be an industry-only event.
