Boston has announced its upcoming 2011 Broadway touring season. 25 award winner Broadway Mary Poppins will be performed at Boston Opera House from 17th of February to 20th of March. In February the world’s most famous nanny will arrive at Boston Opera Theater. More than 600 people from around the city celebrated the season announcement. At Ohio Theater, Broadway Mary Poppins will begin performances from 20th of April and end on 8th of May. The New York Daily News hailed Mary Poppins as “a roof-raising, toe-tapping, high-flying extravaganza”. The cheap Mary Poppins tickets show will include the famous songs like “a Spoonful of Sugar”, “Let’s go fly a Kite” and the most famous song “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”. The producers of this show have announced that Steffaine Leigh will star as “Mary Poppins” in the North American tour of “Mary Poppins”. She will star alongside with “Nicholas Dromard”. “Michael Dean Morgan” will perform as “George Banks” and “Blythe Wilson” as “Winifred Banks”. “Rachel Izen” will portray “Mrs.Brill” and “Dennis Moench” will perform as “Robertson Ay”. “Q. Smith” will play “Miss Andrew” and the “Birth women will be played by “Janet MacEwen”. “Admiral Boom” role will be played by “Michael McCarty”. With four productions currently running on three continents, Mary Poppins is one of the biggest stage musical emerge from London or New York in recent years. It was opened on Broadway in 2006. It is based on the classic Walt Disney movie “Mary Poppins” and “P.L. Travers” stories.
