Feel overwhelmed by the amount of information you have to fill in for each of your uploaded works?

Here are some keywording tips that will ease your workload and help to search-engine-optimize them, so they turn up when people are looking for your kind of works.

1. Title, Media Type and Keywords are important!
Make sure you fill in these sections.
2. Give a short descriptive title for each work.
Maximum 66 characters - anything longer will be cut off by search engines.
Similar themed works should be titled differently.

3. Indicate under Media Type whether it is Footage or Animation.
Buyers are already looking for a specific category of works, so putting your works in the right section is important!
Footage refers only to FILMED footage.

4. Keywords help buyers find your works - Provide a minimum of 20 keywords per work.

To decide on the keywords to be used, look at the work and consider the following:
1. Actions/ Activities (eg. Walking, jogging)
2. Physical Characteristics (eg. Male, female, tall, short)

3. Colors (eg. Red, blue)
4. Composition (eg. Wide Shot, Full Shot, Long Shot, Mid Shot, Medium Close Up, Close Up)
5. Concepts ( eg. leadership, teambuilding)
6. Effects (eg. Explosion, lightning)
7. Events (eg. School Holidays, Christmas, Business meeting)
8. Location (eg. Beijing, Tokyo)
9. Material
10. Mood / Emotions (eg. Happy, cheerful, sad, depressing)
11. Quantity
12. Light/ Time/ Season/ Weather (eg. Day, night/ 1900s/winter/ rainy)

- Do NOT input both the singular and plural of a keyword. Choose the plural over singular if the singular word can be found within the plural eg. tree or trees > use "trees". Choose the singular if the singular and plural are spelt differently eg. Woman/ women > use "woman".

- Include keywords that move from specific to general eg. Image of a pig can be keyworded as "pig", "livestock", "animal".

so that your works can be searched and bought.
