The Blackberry Storm2 is a phone which is a phone apart from its competitors. The phone itself is a small unit about 112 mm by 62 mm wide whilst being only 14 mm thick. The addition of an accelerometer sensor is a useful addition which corrects the aspect of imagery automatically without the need of any user input.



GPRS, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, EDGE, Blue tooth and microUSB are all included within this phone. Whilst the HSDPA connection and Wi-Fi offer internet access at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. This means the handset can be connected to multiple devices and systems. The option of satellite navigation is provided by the GPS with A-GPS support.


The Blackberry Storm2 much like its counterpart and predecessor the Blackberry 8520 curve are comprehensive phones that make use of the Blackberry operating system, which ensures responsive functionality. It offers a new direction for Blackberry with the touch screen technology, which adds a new dimension to this sought after brand of phone and is one which will find favour with the mobile phone fraternity.
