"I don't want to be fat anymore! I've had it with hiding myself in food and big clothes. I'm tired of watching beautiful people swoon over each other.

I'm beautiful too but its all hiding in that fat and my inner beauty is buried way too deep to reach.

I just want to blink my eyes and just be thin, fit and healthy. I want to shop for clothes without intimidation, and have ice cream without the guilt.

It has just been a vicious cycle: I eat and laze because I'm depressed that I'm fat... And I'm fat, so I'm depressed, so I eat and laze..."

Every over weight person has reached a point like this. The idea of losing weight feels impossible! The reality is it is not that difficult to lose 2 lbs per week. That's less than 0.3 lbs per day. If you are tired of being fat, then here is a calculation that will make you feel like no one else is to blame but you:

Let's say you want to lose 100 lbs. First of all, no matter how over weight one is, no one sets a goal that high to start. Anyway, you want to lose 100 lbs and let's face it, 2lbs per week is not so hard to lose. If you had committed yourself to losing just 2 lbs per week in May of 2009, you would have lost it already.


Now think about how much weight you want to lose, and calculate the number of weeks it would take you to lose it, now count back those weeks. If you had started that day then you would have been done by now. Let this thought consume you until you are very angry!

Are you angry? Good!

Now here's what you do:

1. Decide on a workout space (at home or in the gym)

2. Plan out 1 week's worth of easy to prepare breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners. Also important is to schedule your eating times so that you are not skipping meals and also are eating at roughly the same time everyday.

3. Get a nice reusable water container and make sure to drink half your lbs in ounces of water every day.
