It's a pity! There are so many talented people out there. Some of them sing in the shower like Caruso, others are writing soulful songs right from the bottom of their heart and some are great musicians, playing their instruments with virtuosity.

I will show you a possibility how you can start your music career with a world-wide audience for free. Let?s keep it short and get right into the important things you need and have to do:

1. A PC with a sound-card(line-in/mic), graphics adpater that support 3-D and a broadband internet connection
2. Sign up for a free Second Life Basic Account
3. Get a free streaming software and install it on your PC
4. Set up your PC to start streaming your live music into the 'www'
5. Get backing-tracks for accompaniment (optional)
6. Search for karaoke events in Second Life and submit
7. Rock'n'Roll!

It's really easy! I'm now into Second Life's music scene for almost half a year and it's amazing! About 50 people subscribed to my fan-group after two months and they attend my shows regularly. There are lots of different venues you can play at. All around the world people run live music clubs in Second Life, so you can play 24 hours a day. Another nice detail is, you get tips if the audience likes your music. That can be up to 10 US$ for a gig (which lasts usually 60 minutes). Don't get me wrong... it CAN be that much! Making music should primarily be a pleasure, not a business.

It seems to be an inherent necessity to help you to solve your problems, finding answers to your questions or show you where to find the things you need. If you enjoyed my article or have further questions, feel free to visit my website and drop me an email. http://guitarmanflanagan.oyla.de
