A beautiful fabric flower is glued to a small piece of felt or ribbon. Another piece of felt is placed under the open clip and glued to the first piece of felt. This will hold the flower securely.

A fascinator can be attached the same way. The difference is that the flowers are attached to a sinamay disc or mini hat or they are grouped together with feathers to create a "hat". This is not only a very lovely hair piece, but it is a clever way to wear a hat without covering most of the hair style. It is also easy to remove without messing up the hair.
