Bride’s outfit: opt for a slinky satin dress with full length gloves and a Great Gatsby-esque hat or birdcage veil.
Groom’s outfit: slim fit pin striped suits were all the rage back in the roaring 20’s and they’ve seem a recent return into the fashion spotlight. Vests, bowler hats and smart tailoring will suit the theme.
Bridesmaid outfits: flapper style knee length glitzy dresses with tassles and fringe detailing.
Accessories: source art deco inspired jewellery from eBay or vintage markets. Buy parasols for your bridesmaids to carry and vintage fur stoles to wrap around their shoulders if it’s a winter wedding.
Invitations: feature images of big band instruments such as saxophone, trombone, tuba, trumpet. Champagne was a big trend during the 1920s so these could be used as a graphic on the RSVP card, and perhaps a string of pearls.
Photography: Ask the photographer to use a sepia photo (gives an aged, vintage look) for some of your bridal party shots for an authentic 1920s look.

Photobooth: Hire a photobooth for the reception, or if this is out of your budget DIY it with a velvet curtain backdrop, Polaroid camera and box full of fun props such as moustaches, hats to amuse your guests and create unique momentos of your day.
Decorations: champagne cocktail glasses (round shallow ones) were all the rage, so you could create a tower of glasses with champagne flowing down from the top glass to the bottom levels. Black and white colour schemes work well with jazz age themed weddings.
Music: A live jazz band is a great way to enforce the theme, and you should request that they wear 1920s inspired attire to fit in with the overall concept of your wedding.
Hire car: Hire a vintage Rolls Royce or similar car from the era.
First Dance: Do a swing dancing lessons with your fiancé before the wedding so you can surprise all your guests with a fun flapper-inspired dance.
For wedding favours you could create homemade CDs containing 1920s jazz music.
