Finding quality time with young children is becoming more and more of a challenge for the working parent then it has ever been in the past. With parents spending more time commuting to work and working longer hours in the fear of loosing their jobs in the face of the credit crunch, the precious little time that remains when parents get home in the evening before putting their toddlers to sleep is extremely valuable. This precious time can be wasted very easily when parents are tired and less tolerant to new ideas and noisy environments that children function so naturally in. There are however some tested ways to turn this time into quality time.

No doubt the spectrum of opportunities to play games together with ones toddlers is immense. The internet has brought down boundaries and opened a whole new world of such opportunities, however the quality of content has to carefully checked in order to ensure that the time spent is QUALITY time and not time wasted. Pedagogy and Psychology are constantly providing us with new knowledge on how to build relations with ones preschool children. Some of the works of great academics has now found its way into the internet. Teachings of great scholars have been used, like those of Howard Gardner (Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Harvard University, and Adjunct Professor of Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine: multiple intelligences - currently the John H. and Elisabeth A. Hobbs Professor in Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education..); Professor H. Rudolf Schaffer (FRSE, developmental psychologist who most known for his works on child development and the impact of parents playing with their children at early stages of development ); Jean Piaget (9 August 1896 - 16 September 1980) was a Swiss philosopher and scientist, well known for his work studying children, his theory of cognitive development and for his epistemological view called "genetic epistemology.");

These schools of thought have been implemented in the fundamental values of the 150 games available on ChooChooGames.co.uk website. They have great kids flash games and a host of internet games for kids, lots of fun.

Lew Wygotski ) A pioneering psychologist, Vygotsky was also a highly prolific author: his major works span 6 volumes, written over roughly 10 years, from his Psychology of Art (1925) to Thought and Language [or Thinking and Speech] (1934). Vygotsky's interests in the fields of developmental psychology, child development, and education were extremely diverse.)
