Mo Abudu did her secondary schooling from Fiwasaye Girls Grammar school and higher studies in Westkent College & Midkent College and got her Masters Degree in HR Management from university of Westminster in London. She is a member of the British Psychological Society. She did different kinds of jobs, she did some to make the ends meet and some because of she was passionate about them. She was passionate about working in the field of human resources which affected the lives of people positively. She flagged of her carrier in the post of recruitment consultant in the year 1987 and soon became the branch manager. Then she joined the respectable Starform group and successfully managed the Corporate Credit Management Exhibition from 1990-1992. In 1993 Arthur Andersen recruited her for ExxonMobil to lead the human resources & training unit. Then in the year 2000 she took advantage of her reputation as an HR consultant, established her own human resource development company namely Vic Lawrence and associates limited or VLA which became a popular human development firm in Nigeria. Mo also commissioned a project named Protea Hotel in Oakwood Park at Lagos in august 2004, which is a training centre and also offers recreational and residential facilities.



Mo Abudu is also the executive producer and hostess of the talk show moments with mo which is the first daily talk show on African regional television. The show is based on different topics like politics, entertainment, tradition, fashion etc. Inspire Africa has done an overwhelming job in projecting and promoting the new face or Africa which is strong, confident, independent, bold, intellectual and responsible. The show has got an ever growing audience and is aired in countries across Africa and outside Africa. Mo is also the initiator and executive producer of the show The Debater which is a reality TV show that educates, informs, influences and entertains people’s lives.



She is also the founder of the inspire Africa foundation, a human investment company. It is registered as a non-profit organisation and takes initiatives in transforming societies. In January 2009 the inspire Africa foundation along with UNICEF held a benefit concert to help the street children. She now lives with her two children in Lagos, Nigeria.
