The call center industry is one of the most successful industries in the Philippines today. Once known as one of the fastest-growing industries, it is known today as one of the largest industries in the country as well as one of the main contributors to the growth of the Philippine economy through the outsourcing industry. So what are the reasons why the call center industry of the Philippines had grown successfully?

Early Days of the Call Center Industry
According to industry experts, the call center industry of the Philippines wasn’t always a provider of Live Answering Service to different businesses and companies in the Philippines. It was first known as a plain provider of email response and managing services.

This changed when a number of third-party companies and agencies in the Philippines first introduced a few simple call center services in the market, such as customer care and technical support. These services proved to be more reliable and useful compared to email management, and eventually, the demand for these services had grown dramatically which led to the start of the call center industry.


Rise of the Call Center Industry

Eventually, the call center industry was considered as the fastest-growing industry in the Philippines, with its massive growth in only a few years. However, this had grown when a number of offshore companies and foreign investors have started to pour in.

Call Center Industry into the Global Market
Because of the success of the call center industry of the Philippines, as well as the steady growth of Live Answering Service in the industry, many foreign investors have landed in the Philippines to take advantage on this healthy growth and started their own call center companies and agencies in the Philippines.


However, their clients are usually not local companies and businesses, most of their clients are from the US and other western countries. And since then, the number of offshore companies outsourcing their services in the Philippines had grown, which led to the rapid success of the call center industry of the Philippines.
