Do you want simple advice that works?

There are three general levels you can go to for help getting pregnant. The first and most obvious choice is to go to your GP (general practitioner). Your GP will be able to give you general advice regarding the timing of intercourse, your overall physical health and that of your partner and how it plays a part in conception. They will also be able to prescribe basic infertility drugs such as Clomid which is the most commonly used infertility drug on the market today.

The second level of help would be to get an appointment with a gynecologist if you are a woman. This will be of a more specialized nature and you may find that the assistance you get here is of more value as the gynecologist is an expert in the area of women's and will be able to give you more specific information regarding your own personal reproductive health. However the gynecologist doesn't necessarily specialize in female reproductive health.

The third level of help would be to go to an Obstetrician. An Obstetrician is a physician that specializes in dealing with pregnant women through to childbirth.
