If you want beautiful skin, you need to start from the inside. Health and fitness is essential to maintaining beautiful skin. Keeping up your physical appearance doesn't always mean you need to buy better make up. If you take care of yourself, you natural healthy glow will shine through.

Hydration is Key: You've heard it before and you'll hear it again – keep hydrated! Drink plenty of water or other fluids to keep your body and your skin optimal. Water can sometimes be tough on the skin, so wash with warm water, since hot water can be dehydrating.

Eat Well, Look Well: Nutrition is important. Skipping meals or overdosing on caffeine, alcohol or sugary foods and drinks will all have a toll on how you look. Eating properly includes plenty of fresh fruit, vegetable, grains and protein. You'll feel better and you'll look better for it.

Clean is Beautiful: Wash your face in the morning when you wake up to remove dead skin cells and give you a fresh start to the day. Use a gentle cleanser and follow it up with a good astringent or toner. Remember to rinse the cleanser off with cool water to close your pores. In the evening, wash your make up off before you go to bed. Leaving make up on your face while you sleep will clog your pores and cause blemishes. So always wash your face twice a day, morning and night.


Beauty Sleep is Not a Myth: Believe it or not, lack of sleep makes you look older. When we don't get enough sleep it shows on our skin, our face, and especially around the eyes. Dark circles, fine lines and puffiness are the tell tale signs you haven't had a good nights sleep. So make sure you are getting at least eight to nine hours of beauty sleep every single night.

There is no make up in the world that can do as much for your looks as keeping healthy can. Beautiful skin starts with healthy skin.
