Are you a big fan of Harry Potter? Would you like to walk in the footsteps of the boy wizard himself? Well then read on, as there are numerous tours in England dedicated to the books and movies of Harry Potter written by the now famous and rich J K Rowling.

If you fancy a London tour you can take in a magical fun packed bus tour of the film locations. The tour lasts for nearly 3 hours and gives you a chance to stop off along the way at several places where you can stretch your legs, take pictures and get up close and personal with the locations. The locations are scattered across London so the best way to see all the locations and familiar landmarks is with the bus tour. Why not have your photo taken on Platform 9 ¾ or have a go at pushing a trolley through it. It’s an educational trip as you will get to learn all about magic and how the films were made.

The Harry Potter Oxford and Lacock tour will take you to some of Englands most historic places such as the University of Oxford and you will get to see some of Englands beautiful scenic countryside. You get to see the famous home of Harry Potter at Privet Drive in Little Whinging. You get to tour on a luxury mini coach on locations between London and Oxfordshire and see actual sites which were used in scenes from Hogwarts School or places that were the inspiration of the film makers. On this tour you get to stop for a pub lunch in Lacock. Then you can have a walk around the picturesque village and soak up some of the history.


There is a walking and river tour which takes you on a walk around the district that has dozens of ministeries including the Ministry of Magic. The 15 minute boat ride along the Thames goes the same route taken by Harry in the Order of the Phoenix where he eventually arrives at the station before he left for his journey to Hogwarts .

With all the tours you will learn how the films were made and be able to test your knowledge on how well you know the characters and spells. You can get your picture taken at some truly iconic places. Some tours go on for 2 days which gives you a real thorough incite into wonderful world of Harry Potter.
