Growing up with Harry Potter and working in London

I dare say that barely anyone alive today in the western hemisphere has managed to avoid discovering the institution of Hogwarts and the magical creation of J.K. Rowling that is beating under the name of Harry Potter. For me this has had a bit of an unique meaning since I also live in areas where part of this invented life is presumed to take place. Being able to take a walk around in London and even visit the Platform 9 and 3/4 that unfortunately no longer exists where it should have been, there is a massive undertaking going on in London where they are remodeling and upgrading almost every tube and train station there is in this vast city.

Being lucky enough to live so close to central train stations I also have the rest of the country at my disposal and it does not take long at all to go to the other locations referred to in the book or used in the film. The areas are indeed enchanting and delightful, somewhat embellished digitally for the big silver screen to bring more of the mystery and character of Harry Potter to the moviegoers in that dark cinema. The book is frighteningly accurate in some areas and it is awe-inspiring given that the backdrop has in some places had almost ten years to transform.

Living and working in London has given me more wisdom into the way and life of the author and seeing what she was subject to makes more of the fantasy come to life, rather than as most think; demystify it. Strangely enough most people that do not live in the UK still don't comprehend certain foods that are being offered in the books and I have heard gossip about parties where they download recepies from the the net and try to make these delicious meals and sometimes even re-enact some of the Harry Potter goings-on around these meals.

As I brought up earlier, the platform 9 and 3/4 is no longer where it used to be, but since the books and films around Harry Potter has had such an enormous impact on the so called actual life, the city decided to keep that part of the platform accessible and you may still be able to see the pillar where they sneak into the wizardly world where sorcery, dark magic and general life is gleaming with magic. It is highly recommended that you do take a trip to that place if you like Harry Potter and who knows, you may even gain incentive to crate the next extraordinary and epic saga that will entrance the world for more than a decade.

Although it is sad that Harry Potter is coming to an end and that there will be nothing more in that world coming from the author, or that is at least what she has told the world for now. I am more curious about what will be the next thing, where will we find our new enchanted stories? Are you the one that will keep us under a magical spell for the next ten years? While I would love to think that I would be the one to bring this next epic adventure in to our lives, I know that I am far too influenced by J.K. Rowling, David and Leigh Eddings and J.R.R. Tolkien and may copy too much of them to create something that is new and instead of joining these characteristic authors, I would just be another one in a long line of copy cats.

Perhaps this is why author Nick Horby has chosen This city as the location for his new museum energizing the youth, and future authors of this country to put pen to paper and open their minds to unending posibilities....

The penultimate flick about Harry Potter is now in cinemas and with Christmas just around the bend and all the magic that brings, we at London Voucher Codes aid people spend less money and have that magical Christmas feeling that everyone deserves. We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope it is a good one!
