Get Harry Potter Products At Universal Studios

Aside from the castle ride, you'll discover many of the lines in the Harry Potter World at Universal Studios are to get into the shops. I am not really sure why everybody wants to stand in line for the shops; possibly it is for the atmosphere or ambiance inside the store … or possibly they just don't know the secret to get around waiting in line.

When we there in March 2011, my daughter and I went into the Honeydukes candy shop and Zonkos magic tricks shop (they're joined with a single line to get in); the line moved really quickly … about 5 minutes with around 20 people ahead of us. It was mostly like any typical store except it had a lot of candies and tricks on the shelves … oh, and they had "ear" phones hanging from the ceiling.

By the way, if you see people come out of door and there is no line, it's because that's an "Exit Only" door.

Nonetheless, the cool thing is we found you may get most of the really popular Harry Potter products without waiting in line. Here is a list of all the real Harry Potter products you can get:

By the way, if you get one of the hotel packages related to Universal Studios, you will also receive a 15% discount card for meals, drinks, and merchandise, however it's not accepted for Harry Potter products. You also can't use it for food and drinks at a "cart" … which presumably is anywhere that sells these things outside a building. Fortuitously, there are other fully legitimate ways Universal Studios will provide you with discount prices on all this stuff.
