If you're a teacher organizing a charter bus service for a school group, you'll want to choose family friendly movies that both you and your young charges will enjoy. A good movie that is entertaining for both kids and adults alike will keep everyone on board the charter bus service happy. There are many family movies with a wide appeal; try out these flicks on your next charter bus service excursion:

1. The Lion King (1994) - Adults and children alike are fans of this 1994 Disney flick set in the African wilderness. The sixth highest grossing animated film of all time, it follows the cute lion cub Simba, born to King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. All the animals in the kingdom excitedly welcome in their new lion leader, except for Scar, Mufasa's brother who wants the throne for himself. There are some dark themes in this film, but rest assured, the ending is happy. Best of all, the film features memorable songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, including "Can You Feel The Love Tonight," which will have everyone on the charter bus service singing along.

2. Home Alone 2: Lost In New York (1992) - Everyone knows the original Home Alone film, in which Macaulay Culkin's Kevin McCallister booby-traps his family home in order to ward off two bumbling bandits. In this holiday sequel, the action moves to New York City, where Kevin, separated from his family once again, is determined to stop the bandits from robbing a toy store. Children will love the action and chase scenes in this movie, while adult viewers will enjoy seeing the sights of the Big Apple, including the Plaza Hotel, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

3. Jurassic Park (1993) - In this thriller directed by Steven Spielberg, one of the highest grossing feature films of all time, dinosaurs come to life in a futuristic theme park and begin to hunt down and attack the humans. The film stars Sam Neill as a world renowned paleontologist, and features award-winning music by John Williams. The New York Times said Jurassic Park was "a true movie milestone, presenting awe- and fear-inspiring sights never before seen on the screen," and it's sure to have you glued to the screen on your charter bus service.

4. Toy Story (1995) - This computer-animated film by Disney/Pixar is about a group of toys that come to life when humans are not around. The action centers on Woody, a pull-string cowboy doll voiced by Tom Hanks, who belongs to a boy named Andy. When Andy receives a new action figure named Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen), Woody's status as Andy's favorite toy is threatened. Other toy characters in this rollicking tale include Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, Rex, Hamm, and Bo Peep.

Play any of these films in your charter bus service, and they're sure to appeal to the young and young-at-heart alike. Happy travels!
