FallsStart hit the studio for their debut album Casūs Incīpīunt in the summer of 2009. With literally 6 hours of practice before entering the studio and the unforgiving time constraint of less than one month, FallsStart members displayed truly inspirational musical skill and optimism. “The small amount of time we have had together and in the studio for this project may affect the outcome, but in the end it’ll be part of what we consider the artistic touch on this album” says Lead Guitarist, Adrian Cottmeyer. Adrian knew the costs involved and still pressed on digging into life savings and using every last dime he could find to make this a reality for the rest of the band. The lead singer/songwriter David Leatherwood had dreamed of this since he was a small child and Adrian wasn't going to let money stand in the way of his dream.

Casūs Incīpīunt meshes a quick guitar driven foundation with melodic vocals and unpredictable drum patterns to create a beautiful yet gritty Indie Rock sound. "This music is incredibly inspirational considering the writing uniqueness shown by the band which leads us into new licks and grooves with MESH like no other" says Percussionist, Jaron Seuis.
