Have you ever tried walking in an aisle of hundreds of face creams when you’ve been shopping? It is confusing right? But it is never hard for someone loaded with enough knowledge about skin care to find the correct product.

I used to have a dilemma in choosing products that will work for me. I have tried different kinds of face creams. Some gave me terrible results, while some didn’t do anything at all. The experience was not that good until I discovered something that will work for me. And can actually work for everybody.

Creams with natural ingredients like shea butter, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, and active Manuka honey are known for providing great skin results and in treating skin problems. There are natural ingredients that suit the different needs for all different skin types.

Shea butter is an emollient and a fantastic natural moisturizer. It will soften inflamed skin, and also help remove scars, brown spots and blemishes. It absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling.

Avocado oil, on the other hand, works perfectly in moisturizing the skin and in bringing back its natural moisture. It has been scientifically proven to increase the amount of collagen the skin has. Since collagen is what helps to keep the wrinkles away, everyone wants more collagen.

Grapeseed oil is an excellent antioxidant. It removes the harmful free radicals that can cause harmful skin problems and damages. Antioxidant is also responsible in treating the skin cell damages caused by these free radicals.

Active Manuka honey is a specialized honey from New Zealand that stimulates the natural production of the essential protein collagen. Collagen is important in regaining the natural skin health and beauty, and as stated above it will help stop wrinkles from forming.

I have discovered that these products, if used regularly, can provide the skin that I always want. You should be mindful in picking products based on their ingredients. This can go a long way.

You should avoid face creams with alcohol, fragrances, and parabens for they may cause excessive dryness when used regularly. Using harsh chemicals can destroy the skin cells and also harm your health.

Parabens for example are known to irritate the skin. Even worse they are suspected of causing cancer. They mimic estrogen, and when estrogen that is not made by the body enters the body, cancer cells are produced. Thus studies are being conducted as to whether this is a problem with parabens.

Some scientists believe yes they cause cancer, whereas some are not convinced. As far as I am concerned, I’ll leave the products that contain parabens on the shelf. There are better safer substances to find in face creams, that I don’t need to expose myself to cancer.
