Fabulous new designer perfume testers are now available for consumers to buy cheaper online.

Designer perfumes have always been a popular indulgence for many people, with one bottle of designer perfume brought on the high street often costing the equivalent of a days wages. The perfume industry has been drastically commercialised in recent years. A huge amount of marketing and resources go into each launch of every new fragrance and the amount of time taken by each company to design and manufacture not just the perfume but the packaging too is immense.

Your average designer perfume packaging is made up of an elaborate box, glass bottle and fancy lid all covered in a cellophane wrapping which looks fantastic for a gift but for regular users you are paying for a heap of packaging that is only ever going to see a bin. With the worlds media constantly writing about the drastic effects that global warming is going to have on the planet surely the consumer should be given the option to buy the product without the waste?

A number of manufacturers have started allowing their designer perfume testers that are usually only available to large department stores to now be sold to the general public. Designer perfume testers are promotional tools for the major perfume brands and are supplied for the consumer to test the perfume before buying it. Perfume testers usually contain the biggest volume of the product available, come in a plain box and the majority of the time no lid. The lack of detailed packaging with these designer perfume testers means that they are cheaper to buy and potentially better for the environment, more so when brought in large quantities.

Searching the internet to find out about these designer perfume testers that seemed to be too good to be true a site selling them came to my attention. Scentsational Perfumes have been established a number of years and specialise in designer perfume and cosmetics. The company boasts a portfolio of two shops based in Essex as well an online retail outlet. Scentsational Perfume's website advertise a huge range of designer testers with fifty five leading brands of ladies perfume and forty two designer brands of mens fragrances. Comparing the prices offered by Scentsational Perfumes to that of the high street and main online perfume retailers they appear to offer exceptional value perfume with one of the cheapest postal costs that I can find online.

It begs the question why do worldwide consumers pay more for their designer perfumes than they need to and why do the leading manufacturers still insist on packaging their products with unnecessary waste? If consumers make a stand maybe the big cats at the top will change their ways.
