Millions of people have visited the gallery and its impressive surroundings since it first opened back in 1996, and still more are likely to go in the future too. This is also Glasgow's most popular gallery, and once you have been you will see why.



There are lots of other galleries throughout Glasgow as well. Mainly they are smaller more intimate ones, but they might appeal to you if you have a particular love of art that they cover.



If you want to see all of them you will need more than a day to do so. Book a weekend away in the city if you can - Glasgow flights are readily available and will bring you in just to the west of the city itself.
