Excellent Chinese Oil Painting Artist Yue Min-jun Arts Review

In the past 10 years, artist Yue Min-jun with his vivid image and style characteristics has occupied a unique place in contemporary China art circle. This position is not only an enlarged "self-image" location, but also revealed some a character of market-oriented trade mark clearly.

In Yue Minjun's art, the"self-image" enlargement turn into a marketing strategy. Here, the "self-image" is not only a cultural referent, but also the most important fresh element under the conditions of market economy. This is the channel to understand the development of contemporary Chinese oil painting art since the 90s, while Yue-jun art is just standing on the mouth of this channel.

Artist Yue Minj-jun Arts Review:

Yue Minjun, male, who was born in 1962 in Heilongjiang province, China;

In 1989 he graduated from the Fine Arts Department at Hebei Normal University, and then acted as a professional artist;

In 1992 he participated in the "Beijing University Modern Art Show"(held in Beijing);


In 1996 participated in the " China! Modern Art Road Show"(held in Bonn and so on);

In 1999 participated in "the 48th Venice Biennial" (held in Italy), and artist Yue Minjun was been recognized as one of "F4" of contemporary Chinese modern art.
