NTFS file system employs EFS (Encrypted File System) that provides core file corruption technique used for storing encrypted files. The encrypted files are safe from unauthorized access and thus have high security level. The authorized users can access encrypted files and folders in normal way like other files and folders.

But in some situations, when you erase some files from the encrypted Windows XP hard drive or RAID1 array, your logical partitions may get crashed. At this point, all of your hard drive partitions may become inaccessible and serious partition loss situations occur. In order to retrieve lost Windows partitions and stored data, you are required to opt for Partition Recovery solutions.

In a practical scenario, when you log into your Windows XP computer as an administrator and erase some files with the help of Windows Explorer and then reboot your system, you might come across the below given error message:

"The disk in drive is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?"

Such kind of partition crash results into critical partition loss. The Windows XP partition associated with the file to be removed or the source of file should be deleted to resolve the issue. But in this case, all other Windows partitions also get deleted.

Root of the issue

This situation generally occurs on Encrypted NTFS file system when you delete any file. The problem may be due to damage to the file system or some issues with file system encryption algorithms.
The RAID array does not create any effect on Windows XP hard drive partitions when you erase the file. If the drives are damaged, it could be because of RAID controller as huge amount of data is written on drive during erase process.

No matter what the cause of this issue is, the ultimate result would be the partition loss and need of Partition Recovery to handle the situations properly. The recovery is best possible with the help of effective recovery tools.

These applications are known as Partition Recovery Software. They use superior scanning procedures to search, locate and recover lost, missing or inaccessible hard drive partitions. Due to read only and non destructive design, these tools are completely safe and easy to use. You can use these programs even without having sound technical skills.
