Wholesale dvds are among the greatest inventions ever. Who would have ever guessed that at the touch of button or a brief trip to a video store, the great classical movies and tv shows would be so readilly available?

That said, are there pictures that should never have seen the light of day? Should a few be put into bulk packages sold by dvd wholesalers so that they get sold along with films that are more popular? As wholesale dvds, can they furnish some fun?

Absolutely! Let's go over a couple of those "not dvd-worthy" films. We'll have three categories: humor, serious and fight. We'll focus on 2008.

The Comedy Movies that should have never made it to dvd: Disaster Movie. This was intended as a satire. But it is a stupid, unfunny, flat flick that is crude without being clever and execrable without having any moral. Starring Carmen Electra, this motion picture has something to do with asteroids, missions to save someone and stupid allusions to other movies in a poor try at satire.

The Drama DVD That Should Win a Razzie. Untraceable. This film had some possibility of success and some folks even thought it was good so don't just read this one review. The storyline of a murderer showcasing his crimes on the web and drawing in those trying to stop him is a pretty good one. But somehow, this flick featuring Zachary Hoffman manages to be both graphic and idiotic at the same time.

Fight Never Back Down. This movie features Amber Heard. A boy who has a less than stellar home life and now finds himself in a new high school has to study to beat the crap out of people in order to feel self respect. Complete with an a dramatic scene in a produce aisle, this show does move quickly with lots of good visuals but basically no story worth spending any thought on.

But let's consider. These are fine wholesale dvds. You will want to go to your dvd wholesalers' home page and get them all, preferably in large numbers of copies. Then have a Film Party. Sponsor a movie viewing where you and your friends write your own reviews. Give away dvd copies as your top prize and have a blast! .
