What can you get with cupcakes aside from the delight of having a delicious first bite? If you have not noticed, cupcakes encourage you to drink more milk. This means that by eating cupcakes you are indulged in taking in more calcium by drinking more milk than you would normally have every day. Remember that calcium is important in bone health especially for growing children. Calcium is also good for preventing osteoporosis, especially for women.

And if you are a cupcake lover, surely you would have a pour of delight just the mere sight of it fresh from the oven. When you get excited, you to shake, dance, or jump. Actually your endorphine, the ‘happy hormone’, level increases. This would make you feel and look younger. Moreover, at some point, it can improve your sleep, your strength and increase your confidence.

Here is one of the easy cupcake recipes for a healthy bright day ahead. This time try the vanilla cupcake recipe. The ingredients are as follows, my dear:

1. two (1/4) cups all purpose flour

2. one 1/3 cups sugar
3. three teaspoons baking powder
4. one-half (1/2) teaspoon salt
5. one-half (1/2) cup shortening
6. one cup milk
7. one teaspoon vanilla
8. two large eggs

Here’s what you got to. First is you need to do is preheat your oven to three hundred and fifty (350) degrees as well as lining cupcake pans with paper liners.

Next is to combine your flour, your sugar, your baking powder, and your salt in a large mixing bowl. And then, add the shortening, your milk, and your vanilla. On medium speed, beat these ingredients so that it will mix evenly with each other. You can beat it for one minute on medium speed. You also need to scrape the side of bowl with a spatula while mixing.

Add the eggs to the mixture you just made and then beat it again for one minute on medium speed. Scrape bowl again the same way with the previous method. Next is to beat it on high speed for one minute and thirty seconds until it is well mixed.

This becomes your cupcake batter. Spoon it into paper liners at one-half to two-thirds 2/3 full. Bake this for twenty to twenty-five minutes.

Here’s the test, try to insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, then eat is already cooked. Cool the cupcakes for five minutes in pans and then remove and place them on wire racks to cool completely.

Finally once your cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with your favorite frosting recipe or you can as well decorate them as you desire.

For the Cream Fill

You can also make your own cream fill. I have another one of these easy cupcake recipes. The ingredients are as follows: 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup shortening, 2 cups powdered sugar, salt, 3 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Start by beating the butter and shortening together until the mix becomes smooth. Next is to blend in the powdered sugar and a pinch of salt. Then you can now add 3 tablespoons of milk, one at a time and one teaspoon of vanilla. Beat after adding each spoon of milk and then continue to beat until it becomes fluffy and light. Next thing you need to do is to fill a pastry bag with a small tip. In filling your cupcakes, push tip through bottom of paper liner or you can target it unto the top of the cupcake to fill.

These easy cupcake recipes are a real treat! Cupcakes taste even yummier when you made them yourself.
