This is a sturdy, capable camera with a good range of features, such as spot metering and a wide selection of scene modes. Delivering nearly 4 megapixels, it is capable of fair-to-good-quality images from its 3x zoom lens.
Ricoh RDC-1500
This model looks unusual but is practical and easy to use. The 3-megapixel images from its 3x zoom can be of very good quality, while its close-up ability allows it to focus as close a 1cm (M in). Emails can be sent from the camera.
