A high school dance doesn't need to be terrifying - just have fun with it. One day will come when it is time to send out high school dance invitations to mark the end of the school year for seniors. After the invitations, gather the dance party supplies. Budget conscious decisions are requiring more creativity in use of materials and designs. Using the school colors for the invitations to a high school dance, allows for them to be unique to the school.Use the high school's colors to show they're exclusive to that particular school. The next choice depends on the number of senior class men students to be invited, addressing the invitations individually or just a generic invite.

With the invitations done and sent for the party, it is time to focus on ideas for them to have something to do at the party and thus the needed party supplies. The first part will focus on the general design on the room, probably the high school gymnasium. The school gym is usually the best place to throw a dance party, so start decorating! Using the school colors begin running streamers throughout the room, then include matching balloons. The balloons should be grouped together in matching sets of twos and fours, randomly disturbed throughout the room to provide a good mix. Next add a couple of matching banners with the colors and team mascot, plus a school saying with the added words "senior prom night, welcome all."

With the completion of the party supplies used in the decoration of the room, next it is time focus on some activities for those not wishing to dance or tired of dancing. Set up tables and cover them with dark tablecloths to be used for different games later. The choice of party games will depend on the schools approval, but no real money will be used. Which means that during the process of going through and picking up the party supplies, one of the two options should be considered for the table games. Either picking up paper to later be used in printing school designed and issued money to be used at the games or already made play money. Making school designed money offer up the chance to be very creative in the design and the denomination values. One design would take the school colors and the school mascot or icon as part of the design. Optional if the senior class has a motto or saying that could be added as well to the design, the choices are limitless. Plan ahead so that there will be enough funds in the piggy bank to make this dance bash a memorable one!
