If you have started researching writing instruments to purchase you will already know that there is a huge choice available for most pockets. Two strong players in the pen market in many countries are Lamy pens and Visconti pens. Here we are going to touch on exactly what you get for the money you spend with each. Writing instruments within the Lamy pen range cost considerably less than the Visconti pen range. Both Lamy and Visconti are similar in that both manufacture high quality writing instruments. For your information below we highlight two products from each manufacturer and compare what you get for what cash you part with.

Lamy pens should probably be your first port of call if you are looking for something smart and very reasonably priced. A superb looking pen to consider would be the Lamy Safari which retails just over ten pounds. In this range you can buy fountain pens, ballpoint pens, rollerballs and retractable pencils too. Each pen barrel is manufactured from sturdy ABS plastic. The colour range you can choose from is great so you will definitely find a pen that fits the bill. To add to its fancy look the high gloss chrome clip really is the icing on the cake for this very affordable pen.

Perhaps the Safari is not your cup of tea and you would prefer something a little more posh? Let us introduce the Rembrandt series from Visconti pens. There is still the same choice of roller ball and fountain pen as you get with the Safari. The main materials used in the manufacturing of these pens are variegated resins in luscious colours. Appealing platinum trim and unique magnetized cap lure you in even more with this Visconti pen. To be honest they look a lot more expensive than what they cost, so are perfect to impress on a tighter budget.

Do not reach for the cheque book yet until you have taken time to see Lay pens Accent series. The Accent offers you (in a very clever way) two different pen looks for the price of one as you get an extra interchangeable barrel grip with each purchase. The main barrel of each Accent Lamy pen has a brilliant high gloss black finish which is enhanced by the stainless steel clip. To compliment the black ,the changeable lower barrel comes in black with luxurious rings of platinum or briarwood finish.

But lets move upwards right to high end of the market to the Venetia Silver in the Visconti pens collection. One look at this pen and you will see why they are renowned for luxury. One thing that you could be guaranteed of with this pen is that all heads will turn. How fabulous is that luxurious black resin adorned by silver filigree. Venice is the inspiration for this series in the Visconti pen collection. And like Venice they too are expensive. The Venetia Silver retails at just under a cool one and half thousand pounds.
